DVD label Anchor Bay has released the twisted thriller “Not Forgotten”, and they kindly offered us three copies of the movie as competition prizes! The excellent cast includes Simon Baker (The Mentalist, “The Devil Wears Prada”), Paz Vega (“The Spirit”, “Spanglish”), Chloe Moretz (“Kick-Ass”, “Bolt”) and Claire Forlani (“Meet Joe Black”, CSI: NY, Press Gang).

Ordinary guy Jack Bishop (Baker) lives a seemingly idyllic life in a peaceful Texan town with his 11-year-old daughter, Toby (Moretz), and beautiful new wife, Amaya (Vega). But Jack’s past holds a dark secret that he hides not only from his family and friends but also from himself. When Toby disappears and is feared kidnapped, Jack suspects that his buried past has caught up with him. Desperate to recover his daughter, he is driven to turn to his long forgotten faith in the mystique of La Santa Meurte and her followers, the protectors of the sinner and worshippers of the dead.

Not Forgotten on DVDParallel to Jack’s search, a more conventional investigation into Toby’s disappearance is being led by the authorities who initially believe a repeat sex offender may be responsible.

Jack is led across the border and into the squalid ghettos and seedy brothels of a Mexican border town, where a psychic reveals the secrets of his forgotten past in terrifying detail. As the terrible truth is unearthed, an unexpected web of lies, deceit, murder and revenge conspires to destroy Jack by threatening the lives of those he loves the most.

“Not Forgotten” (certificate “18”) has been released on DVD by Anchor Bay Entertainment from 15 March 2010, priced £15.99, or less from www.culttvstore.com
